Ardingly autumn show & game fair

I'm afraid I have nothing new to post this week in the way of artwork as I am having an art holiday for a while in the hope that a large dollop of motivation will soon land in my lap!

Meanwhile I have been out and about with my camera (my main lens is in for repair and I miss it terribly) gathering plenty of inspirational material to utilise when that motivation finally arrives.

Today I had a lovely outing to Ardingly to witness the Autumn show and game fair, this was a new event for me and I found it very entertaining with a wide variety of things to see and do, if only the rain could have stayed away :-(

Here are a couple of images from the day....its a two day event so if you are looking for something to do tomorrow I fully recommend it ;-)

That top photo is just darling and should really inspire you to paint it! Glad you're planning ahead even if you aren't painting.

Hope you get your muse back soon as you do such beautiful work.

Thank you Jan I got some really wonderful photos of that little boy and his dog and I'm quite sure that they will feature in a special painting sometime soon but for now I think I've just got to ride this out ;-(
I see things all the time that make me think "wow that would make a great subect for a painting" but when I sit down to apply paint to canvas......nothing is happening! I guess sometime we all need to recharge those batteries ;-), I am encouraged by your support xx

I know what you mean - I was in a sort of funk but am now churning out paintings right and left! lol Hope I can sustain the charge through some commissions. Commissions have a way of really "draining my battery"! lol
